will use your money to support the management of existing
established woodland but we know you would prefer your carbon
offset contribution to have a much more tangible result on
the environment.
Our
small scale "Plant A Tree For Me" carbon offset
initiative provides just that; an auditable contribution of
an additional tree in private woodland situated in West Lancashire.
The ash tree planting programme will generate both natural
habitat and provide a future source of sustainable bio fuel
as it will be coppiced every 10 - 15 years for use as firewood.
Burning logs in modern efficient woodburning stoves provides
a practical, affordable form of green power from a carbon
neutral energy source and, more importantly, provides the
ongoing economic justification for the management of the new
woodland we are presently creating.
Our
tree planting carbon offset initiative is ideal for those
who want an absolute assurance that a real tree has been planted
as a direct result of your contribution; whether it is to
offset your carbon footprint, in memory of a loved one or
just because you want a tree!. A unique serial number is provided
for each tree planted. Should you so wish, you are very welcome
to come and plant your tree yourself.
